Counter-Flow Cooler

COUNTERFLOW PELLET COOLER

Pellets that come out of the pellet press are very soft, moist, and unstable. For long-term storage, it is essential to cool them and remove residual moisture. This process reduces the temperature of the pellets from 70–90 °C to 5–10 °C above ambient.
